About

Our goal on June 18 is to inspire 250 donors to help us raise $25,000. During the BAC FAMily Fund Fundraiser, continue standing with St. Andrew's by working for justice and progress. Take this opportunity to deepen your pride for St. Andrew’s by pushing the progress of the BAC forward with purpose.

During 2020’s summer of racial reckoning, five Black St. Andrew’s alumni committed themselves to partnering with their alma mater to work with its Black constituents, and beyond, to foster and model reconciliation, ensure racial equity and equality, and provide policy recommendations to St. Andrew’s administration. Thus, the Black Alumni Collective (BAC) was formed with a mission to enrich the experience of Black St. Andrew’s students and alumni through fellowship, advocacy, and mentorship. Over this past year, we’ve had great success thanks to your generous support; however, the work isn’t done, and we need your help to push the progress forward.

This year's BAC FAMily Fundraiser progresses the efforts, initiatives, and programs centered around the Collective’s three tenets of fellowship, advocacy, and mentorship (FAM). Through this fundraiser, we are cementing the foundation of the BAC Fund. This restricted fund will continue to assist Black students at St. Andrew's to afford college tuition through the BAC Scholars Program and fund innovative ideas and build an entrepreneurial mindset through HackBAC.
