





The St. Ambrose University Children's Campus (SAUCC) provides a comprehensive early childhood program for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 6-years-old, resources for families and educational experiences for university students.
St. Ambrose University Children's Campus is licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services.
The Children's Campus earned the highest Level 5-star rating from the Iowa Quality Rating System (QRS). This voluntary rating system was developed to raise the quality of child care in Iowa, raise the number of children in high-quality child care settings, and to educate parents about quality in child care.
The Children's Campus Nature Explore Classroom – one of the first in Iowa – is a dynamic, nature-based outdoor space developed by research-based, field-tested design principles focusing on youth education and whole child development. These classrooms allow children to explore and develop a connection to the natural world through engaging in open-ended play while enhancing the physical environment and adding natural beauty to the space.
