Bob Bartling was not just a passionate supporter of SDSU Athletics but also a true embodiment of dedication, perseverance, and Jackrabbit spirit. Bob left an indelible mark on everyone he met, and his positive attitude and infectious personality resonated with all who were fortunate enough to know him. His involvement in Jackrabbit sports was lifelong, highlighted by his roles on the football, basketball, and track and field teams at SDSU, as well as being a charter member of the Prairie Striders running club and an organizer of the Jack 15 road race. Even in his later years, Bob remained a loyal fan, season ticket holder, and dedicated volunteer at the Briggs Library, always bringing his boundless energy and positivity to the SDSU community.
To celebrate Bob Bartling's incredible legacy, we are creating athletic scholarships. These scholarships will empower future Jackrabbits to achieve their dreams both on and off the field, ensuring they have the necessary resources to excel in their sports and academics.
