The Smith Fund powers campus, from Convocation to Ivy Day, from the athletic fields to Paradise Pond trails, study carrolls in the Hillyer Art Library to booths in the Campus Center. Virtually every aspect of students’ lives, from noodle bowls for dinner in the Quad to essential equipment in science labs is supported by gifts to The Smith Fund.
Your gift makes a difference:
- $5 can contribute to cider and doughnuts served at the president’s house, the traditional start of Mountain Day.
- $10 can purchase a set of safety goggles for use in science labs.
- 30 gifts of $100 can cover workshops that teach students how to apply a social justice lens to conflict resolution.
- $5 can equip a science lab with 19 centrifuge tubes to help students make important discoveries.
- $20 can help raise the curtain on stimulating theater productions like this spring’s mainstage production, La Ruta, by purchasing set supplies.
- 10 gifts of $70 can cover the cost of Kurzweil, an assistive technology tool, and improve learning outcomes for students with dyslexia.
- $5 contributes to the purchase of thought-provoking journals and other publications in Neilson Library.
- $40 supports cutting-edge science research with the purchase of a lab coat.
- 58 gifts of $10 equip the student-run Food Rescue Network with the containers they use to redirect surplus food from campus to the local community
Make a gift by June 30 to impact today’s student experiences.
