Co-founding the nonprofit Re-Earth Initiative as a teen, Xiye bridges the gaps between policy, youth inclusion, and funding to empower the climate movement. Named as an ambassador to the United Nations High-Level Champions in 2021, Xiye is also a commissioner in the Climate Governance Commission and serves as a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Champion. She received the 2018 United Nations Spirit Award and was named ELLE Woman of the Year in 2023.
