Live Performances: Recalling Spirits

Recalling Spirits is more than a campfire ghost story or haunted house—it’s a breakthrough arts performance drawing on the local histories of those who came before us. Under the sponsorship of Scripps Presents; Claremont native son Michael Alden, executive producer of films, Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre productions; Harvard PhD Creative Studies and Critical Inquiry program composer and music producer Micah Huang; and Scripps Frankel Chair of Music Hao Huang collaborate to present an immersive experience of spoken word, visual images, music, soundscape and dance. This will be an unforgettable night of storytelling about the connection between place and spirit, in an exploration of the lore of Claremont and environs.
