The Samford CARES Office includes Counseling, CARE and Wellness Resources for students. One of the distinctive characteristics of our campus culture is the thoughtful and thorough efforts made to identify students that need help, to connect them with the right resources and to invest in their long-term healing and success. We are working to create spaces and programming that promote personal wellness and growth. Our students are still wading through the ripple effects of the pandemic, and they need (and are asking for) more mental health support than in years past. Funding Samford CARES will enable us to provide more robust support and resources for students as they work their way through challenges and seek to become healthy, whole and successful individuals.
