The Legacy League is a philanthropic organization with over 800 members including university friends, alumni, parents and employees. Members, ranging in age from 22 to 102, are united in their commitment to provide life-changing scholarships to students with significant financial need and challenging circumstances. The Legacy League offers meaningful volunteer opportunities, inspirational programs and a friendly, caring community to all who become involved.
Current and previous Legacy League scholarship recipients have faced challenges including homelessness, abandonment, death or disability of a parent, inner-city violence, parental substance abuse and the sacrifices of full-time ministry. Students benefit from ongoing care from staff and volunteers, connections to campus resources, fellowship and home-cooked meals at monthly dinners, and practical assistance including food pantry access.
