SamfordGlobal, previously known as the Global Engagement Office, connects international students with Samford and provides study abroad opportunities. Four goals of our office are to: invest in institutional infrastructure to maintain and grow international offerings; develop and promote more international opportunities for students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders; grow curricular and co-curricular educational opportunities at Samford for individuals from other nations; and host programs and events that promote cross-cultural education and outcomes.
On Samford Giving Day, you can support these efforts by giving to one of the following areas:
- SamfordGlobal Excellence Fund - supporting the excellence and expansion of Samford's global initiatives. This fund supports several growth opportunities, including but not limited to subsidizing new global programs abroad, supporting international students and scholars, and sponsoring international travel for faculty, staff and students related to new initiatives.
- Daniel House Fund - supporting the ongoing maintenance and sustainability of our Daniel House, London Study Center.
- SamfordGlobal Scholarship Fund - providing scholarships for Samford students to study abroad. We want to give every Samford student the opportunity to travel the world!
