With the spring season coming to an abrupt halt, and competition suspended for the fall, the Salve Seahawks have been greatly affected by this pandemic. Our coaches, players and staff are making the best of a difficult situation. Focusing on practice, team bonding and fitness in a safe and socially distant manor. The pandemic has not taken away the competitive spirit of our student-athletes.
Considering many guideline changes from the governor, there are new costs associated with Salve Athletics to keep our student-athletes healthy and safe. We hope you consider making a gift to Friends of Seahawk Athletics or to the sport of your choosing so that we can give our varsity sports every opportunity to come out of this pandemic better, faster and stronger when it is time to compete again.

Thank you to the 643 family members, friends and alumni for supporting your favorite sport over the last month to help Salve Regina Athletics raise $64,123 for our student-athletes. To reach such a fundraising level speaks volumes about the generosity and kinship of the Seahawk community here at Salve.
Due to the “pause” occurring in Rhode Island at this time, we will be leaving the individual team pages up and running for the remainder of the year. This will allow teams to reach their fundraising goals during a time when athletic schedules and guidelines are ever-changing. We look forward to welcoming our fans back to campus when teams are back in play and we are able to gather together to share our Seahawk spirit. In the meantime, thank you, again, for your generous and continued support.

We are so grateful for the overwhelming support from our community of Seahawk friends and family for our athletic programs. It’s amazing to see so many class years represented by Salve Regina donors across the country who have contributed to Seahawks Take Flight.
We have surpassed the $30,000 mark, which is an incredible success for Seahawk Athletics.
