Scholarships Change Lives
By supporting student scholarships, you are making dreams come true. On Salve Day of Giving join in with a gift to the University Scholarship Fund or other named fund. Scholarships help students in a variety of academic programs and recognize campus leadership and a commitment to service in the community.
Gateway for Salve Regina:
A new scholarship resource to address the financial needs of students and families, helping to fill the gap between what a family is able to contribute and the cost of attendance. Fund dollars are used in both the recruitment of new students and the retention of current students, increasing the likelihood of academic success, persistence, and graduation.
University Scholarship Fund:
An important resource for financial aid, the University Scholarship Fund provides assistance to hundreds of students each year.
Study Abroad Scholarship:
A resource for students who plan to study abroad for the first time at a Salve Regina sponsored or affiliated program. Applicants must demonstrate academic merit and the maturity to represent the University abroad.
Vision of Mercy Scholarship
For female students who are committed to the materially poor, to peace and justice, and to working with advocacy groups on behalf of underserved individuals, all in accordance with the vision statement of the Sisters of Mercy.

Salve Day of Giving has come to an end and we are in awe of the generosity from our community. Our goal for the day was 500 donors and we surpassed that goal ending the day with an incredible 650 donors. Alumni, Students, Faculty, Staff, Trustees, Parents, Family and Friends joined together and raised $130,177 to build student life at Salve Regina University.
Thank you to everyone who made a gift to the inaugural day of giving. Your support helped set a new record for most-gifts in a single day at Salve Regina. A special thank you also to our Community Advocates for believing in this day for students so much that they promoted this effort to their own circles to guarantee a successful Salve Day of Giving.
We appreciate everyone involved in Salve Day of Giving and we look forward to when campus opens fully for our students to gather, socialize and compete safely again thanks to your immeasurable support.

With 14 hours left in our inaugural Salve Day of Giving, we are close to surpassing our goal!
Thank you to everyone who has participated in this exciting day so far and a special thank you to parents Katie & Chris Daly, alumni Sara Duda Clary '00, Sandra J. Flowers PhD '65, '06, and Robert P. Moran, Jr. '86, parents Sal and Dawn Rinaldi and a special anonymous alumna for offering our first challenges for Salve Day of Giving. Together, they have offered $15,000 that was unlocked for our students.
With our goal in site, alumna Liz Piasecki ’70 has stepped forward with a wonderful gift to scholarships if we surpass 500 donors by midnight tonight!
“Rose and I established an endowed scholarship for students studying history and American studies. We can never forget our roots... I challenge all of you on this Day of Giving to give in honor of those experiences as Salve women and all alumni who have succeeded and made our unique ways in the world. Although Rose and I live in the Midwest, we keep our historical connection to Rhode Island and Salve Regina alive and productive! I am proud and honored to donate $15,000 today if we can exceed our goal..."
- Dr. Elizabeth Ciallella Piasecki ‘70
If you have already made your gift, please consider sharing the campaign with family, friends and fellow alumni. We hope you will assist the Salve community in surpassing our goal to unlock this incredible opportunity for our students.

Due to the untimely loss of a Salve student, Salve Day of Giving will be postponed until Thursday, March 25, 2021. Out of respect for our community and the student’s family, we are pausing promotions for this campaign. Our site will remain open, and all gifts made will continue to support our students and their interests at Salve Regina University.
As our community comes together at this time, we thank you for your patience and understanding.
