Rob McGuinness matched $250Salve Cross Country is back to competing and getting their miles in on the streets of Newport!
The women's cross-country team is consistently among the contenders in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The team has won two invitational meets this season and hopes to be in the hunt for the conference championship in October.
Our program takes an athlete-centric approach to everything that we do. Our training is tailored toward helping our student-athletes achieve their running goals while positioning the team for collective success. Many of the program's all-time best performances - individual and team - have been accomplished in the last 10 years.
Support from our alumni, family, friends and community donors will help the team manage any expenses that are over and above our regular operating budget.
