A Piano for Our Lady of Mercy Chapel

Music can speak to us in ways that words cannot express.

This summer, Salve Regina received a limited time opportunity to purchase a restored walnut Yamaha G2 baby grand piano. Through the generosity of alumni and faculty, the Chapel Piano campaign has begun to raise funds needed to bring this beautiful instrument home to Our Lady of Mercy Chapel.

Music is of utmost importance in the Church and plays an integral role in the liturgy. Salve’s music ministry team consists of students who sing and play instruments at every weekend Mass during the academic year. The sound of an acoustic piano will support congregational singing and elevate the beauty of the music in the chapel for Masses, services and weddings.
