Welcome to the Fourth Annual Saint Michael’s College Rugby Challenge! Over the last three years, alumni, family, and friends have helped us raise more than $25,000 for our rugby club! With these gifts, we were able to establish the Rugby Teams’ Alumni Support Fund, which supports general operations of both the men’s and women’s rugby teams.
This year, two anonymous alumni have stepped up to make this our most exciting challenge to date! In honor of the 1993 NERFU Division III Champions, they have generously given $5,000 to kick-start our campaign. And if we can match that $5,000 by the end of the week with our own donations, they will donate an additional $5,000. Resulting in a new fundraising record for St. Mike's Rugby!

As
you may know, COVID-19 prevented us from playing this past fall. Though we were
not able to compete, the club continued to grow and we are prepared for fall
2021. The men’s ranks grew and gained invaluable experience practicing this
past fall. They have grown together as a unit. The women recruited a number of
first-year players, and with the experience of the upperclassmen, they are
hungry for their first competition.
As we gear up for the 2021 season, we hope you’ll consider supporting our annual Rugby Challenge. Your gift, no matter the size, will help our teams and our players move forward.

This is an exciting time for St. Mike’s Rugby! What better time to get together with friends old and new but St. Patrick's Day! Join us on Zoom at 7:00 PM ET this Wednesday, March 17 to meet the coaches and players, learn about the current club's plans, and share stories and laughs from the old days! Click here to RSVP. We hope to see you there!

We are in the home stretch of the Saint Michael's Rugby Challenge. So far, you have helped us raise more than $18,000!
I am grateful to all of our alumni, families, and friends who have supported us. Both teams are eager to get back out on the pitch and the support of our rugby family has heightened our excitement for the fall 2021 season.
There are so many things that I love about St. Mike's Rugby, but what I love the most is the sense of community. Anyone can join the program and instantly feel welcomed and at home. Being a member of the women's rugby team has made my St. Mike's experience better.
Help us reach $20,000 before midnight tonight! You can help spread the word and encourage others to join you in making a gift.
On behalf of all the men’s and women’s rugby players, thank you!
Emily Krumm ’22
Women’s Rugby Captain

Thank you for making a gift to the Saint Michael's Rugby Challenge! In just two days, we have reached our initial goal of $15,000 for SMC Rugby.
I have been a member of the Men’s Rugby coaching staff since the fall of 2016. During my time, I have seen our men and women create a culture of camaraderie and responsibility. I am most proud to see that so many of our graduates have continued their success post-graduation. And the support from you – our alumni – helps make it all possible.
A gift to the Rugby Teams' Alumni Support Fund has an immediate impact on our players and program – from stipends for assistant coaches to new equipment, incidental costs, and so much more.
In addition, your donation is supporting a long-term vision for SMC Rugby, which includes things like annual clinics and camps and a rugby-specific clubhouse on campus. And, most importantly, our goal is to be a place where generations of SMC rugby players are cared for by their community here on campus and prepared to go out into the world to do well and do good.
Let’s keep the momentum going. Can you help us reach $20,000 before the end of the week?
Encourage a former rugby teammate to join you in making a gift and help us set a new fundraising record for SMC Rugby!
Thank you!

Assistant Men’s Rugby Coach

Welcome to the fourth annual Saint Michael's Rugby Challenge!
This year, two anonymous alumni have stepped up to make this our most exciting challenge to date! Since the beginning, Saint Michael’s Rugby has been a community that promotes the core values of camaraderie, leadership, inclusion, and respect for all. With your support, we can continue to move our program forward so that future men’s and women’s rugby players can have the same experience.
Make your gift today and leave a lasting legacy for St. Mike’s Rugby.
