Dear Supporters of Saint Joseph School
In response to the pandemic, we have taken extraordinary measures to ensure a safe and open campus for our students. We started school two weeks early, and to date, we have not had a single confirmed case of COVID impact our campus - school has remained in-session. Dedicated to our community, we have taken every social distancing and hygiene measure possible for our school’s responsible operation. In keeping with these efforts, our annual dinner & auction, Jumpers & Cords, does not fit given the current health crisis. Until we can come together again in this fashion, we need your help.
You have always been generous at this event, specifically in your sponsorship of a table or through a donation to Fund a Cause, and we ask you to prayerfully consider donating what you would have spent at our event this year. Anything you can contribute now will help us continue to provide for our students.
Would you like to make a gift of appreciated stock to minimize taxes, or are you over 70.5 years young? Though minimum distributions aren’t required in 2020, thanks to the CARES Act, a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA could reduce future required minimum distributions. Either way, we can help you facilitate a gift of this nature.
If you prefer to donate by check, you can send it to the school at Saint Joseph School, 2460 Gold St, Redding, CA 96001. Please write “J&C Campaign” on the memo line of the check.
We understand the inability to come together and break bread in support of our school is a disappointing turn of events. We also know that our community comes together in times of adversity, and this trying time will be no exception. We have faith that our supporters will rise to the occasion to support our students and our school.
