The Magis Scholars Program identifies incoming freshmen of great promise and looks to bridge the gap between financial assistance officially awarded by the school, and what additional assistance a family needs to be able to send the family’s Scholar through his four years at Ignatius. This additional aid seeks to do the magis for these special young men who are selected according to objective criteria that the school has approved. There are currently 20 students in the Magis Scholars Program. Through your generosity, we hope to be able to double that number next year by raising an additional $50,000.

Thanks to Rita & Peter Carfagna ’71, lead donors for the Magis Athletic Center and founders of the Magis Scholars Program, all gifts to the Magis Scholars Program will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000, through the Carfagna's Magis Scholars Challenge.

We have reached $300,000...but we're not done yet!

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Annual Fund today! We have reached our $300,000 goal and unlocked a $50,000 matching gift! But let's not stop there. We still have a lot of hours left in the day and a lot of prizes to give away including a Welsh Academy gift basket and a vintage-style t-shirt.

Tonight the Cleveland Terminal Tower will be lit in blue and gold to celebrate our roots in the city since 1886. Let's continue the celebration and see how much we can accomplish together!
