All members of the Saint Ignatius High School community are invited to join us in a 24-hour day of giving, in celebration of our Jesuit heritage and mission.
St. Ignatius Loyola was canonized by Pope Gregory XV on March 12, 1622. Our hope is that today on March 12th, in honor of St. Ignatius, 200 donors will show their support of our mission. Saint Ignatius, now in its 131st year, is rooted in Jesuit mission, forming young men to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, committed to doing justice and religious.
All gifts received today will help to support current students and families that are in need of tuition assistance. Without your support, a Saint Ignatius education would be a far off dream.
Cleveland • Jesuit • 1886 Saint Ignatius High School has been rooted in Cleveland since 1886. We are proud to call Cleveland our home. As a special tribute to Saint Ignatius High School, the Cleveland Terminal Tower will be lit tonight in blue and gold. Donors who make a gift between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. will be entered into a raffle to receive our unique Cleveland That I Love t-shirt created by GV Artwork as modeled by our very own Theology teacher and soccer coach Jim Brennan '85.

The Class of 1996 claims the alumni challenge today by being the class that made the most gifts today for #SIHSGivingDay. The nine alumni who contributed will receive a special gift from the school.
Thank you for your support!
Winners during our Wildcat pride hours from 3 - 5 p.m. are:
Dave Gaunter '97 - Wildcat football helmet winner
Matt Keefe '92 - Basketball jersey
Kevin Kavalec '13 and John Conry '83 - Basketball shooting warm ups
Neal Novak '65 - Golf gear
Pepper Mayor '09 - Baseball cap
Thank you for your participation!
If you attended Saint Ignatius High School in the past 53 years, you may remember a man by the name of Tom Pasko. Here, he comments on the importance of tuition assistance and urges alumni and friends of Saint Ignatius to consider making a gift for #SIHSGivingDay. We’re asking classes to join in a friendly competition to see who can have the highest participation. Donors from the class with the highest number of gifts made before 7 p.m. will receive a special gift from the school.
If you make a gift for #SIHSGivingDay between 3 and 5 p.m., you will be eligible to win athletic gear including basketball warm ups, baseball caps and golf gear. Support our students and sport your Wildcat Pride!

Kevin is our lucky winner during our Men for Others hours from noon - 3 p.m. He will receive an A.M.D.G. pennant, St. Ignatius Loyola medal and a handcrafted wooden A.M.D.G. sign. Congrats, Kevin and thank you for your support!
Thank you to our donors who have supported #SIHSGivingDay so far. Because of your generosity we have reached our goal of 200 donors and unlocked our second matching gift of $50,000!
But the day isn't over yet. We have another donor who will contribute $25,000 if we can reach 250 donors. Visit www.ignatius.edu/givingday to make your gift now!
We have just under 10 hours to see how much we can raise towards tuition assistance. Your gifts have a direct impact on the students of Saint Ignatius High School. Thank you for your support.

Noon - 3 p.m. Men for Others Service and social justice are built into everything we do here at Saint Ignatius High School. Whether it’s our Labre Ministry to the Homeless, St. Joseph of Arimathea Pallbearers Society, or any one of the other Christian Service Initiatives offered, our students take pride in being of service to others. Donors during these hours will be entered to win an A.M.D.G. package complete with a medal of St. Ignatius Loyola.

There is no doubt that the teachers at Saint Ignatius High School make this place so special. Their work helps to form graduates who are intellectually competent. We want to hear your favorite teacher stories!
Use #SIHSGivingDay to share your favorite teacher stories on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram between 10 a.m. and noon, and you will be entered to win a prize!
