Vision for Woodlands and Wildlife Education at Proctor
Since the early beginnings the students, teachers, and parents have chosen to be part of the Proctor community because of the close relationship with the natural world. For the past 16 years Mike Henriques has led with the same commitment and ideals. As he prepares to pass the responsibility to Brian Thomas it is time for us all to come together to give the Woodlands program a home for generations to come.
A new barn style building to include both wet lab and dry lab classroom space, as well as classroom space to house courses from other departments desiring to connect with the outdoors and an attached greenhouse will be constructed.
A group of alumni, parents, and grandparents spanning four decades have come together to raise over $1 million collectively in support of this project. With the goal to raise approximately $2.75M to construct and endow this center, it is now time to invite the entire Proctor community to join them in supporting this initiative.
Your generosity will help us achieve the dream of creating a space that honors Proctor's commitment to the natural world, and to those faculty members who have served as stewards of the 2,500 acres of land a reality. We invite you to join this challenge to construct and endow this new educational center focused on connecting students to the Proctor Woodlands.

The journey of our timbers continues. Harvested on Proctorโs woodlands this fall, processed in Tamworth, NH and now delivered to the construction site of the Proctor Woodlands Center where they will sit proudly for another hundred years. Enjoy!

We are excited to keep you posted! The project has been finalized and will be moving forward with construction slated to begin over the next few weeks. Please join us for a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, October 9 at 1 PM at the Woodlands Office.
