XPCC Giving Tuesday 2020

Giving Tuesday is upon us! This year, we are working to raise desperately needed funds for the COVID-19 Response Fund for Students. Your gift provides grocery store gift cards, technology resources like laptops and internet access so students can continue learning remotely and emergency grants to keep our students in school while they navigate the upheaval of this pandemic. 

When PCC transitioned to virtual education and many local employers closed their doors, our students found themselves wondering how they were going to pay their bills, manage online learning and stay in school. The PCC Foundation swiftly rose to action in support of students, creating the response fund and providing more than $1.2 million in aid to help hundreds of students.

Nine months later, students’ needs are still high and their worries about continuing their educational pursuits are still omnipresent. In light of these circumstances, we are asking that you join in with our community of supporters today and make a meaningful gift to lift up our students as this crisis continues. And, our PCC Foundation Board of Directors will be matching the first $6,250 in gifts! 

• $50 provides for one grocery store gift card for a student facing food insecurity

• $200 provides a laptop for a student learning remotely

• $500 supports one emergency grant to keep a student in school
