Giving Tuesday is here! On this global day of giving, we are asking our community to come together to make gifts to support our Urgent Student Need Fund.
As we approach the two-year mark of battling COVID-19, PCC students’ biggest needs are the basics that many people take for granted. The Foundation has been able to respond to these increased needs with emergency grants, grocery store gift cards, laptops for remote learning and support for mental health services because of donors like you.
The needs persist as we enter the holiday season, and we are committed to making sure our students can focus on their education and future goals. As one student said because of their grocery store gift card, “I did not need to worry about my meals or skip them. I could focus on studying.”
Here's what your gift will do:
- $50 pays for groceries for a student facing food insecurity
- $200 provides students with access to mental health services
- $550 pays for a laptop for one student to continue learning remotely
Thank you to the PCC Foundation Board of Directors and Emeritus Board, the PCC Federation of Faculty and Academic Professionals and Barbara Raz Neu for their generous matches on Giving Tuesday.
We are asking that you join with our community of supporters today and make a meaningful gift. Any amount is helpful and appreciated!

Thank you for your support of our Giving Tuesday campaign! Because of the generosity of supporters like you, $36,203 was raised for the PCC Foundation’s Urgent Student Needs Fund. These gifts will support much-needed emergency resources by keeping our Panther Pantries stocked, providing students with technology resources and funding emergency grants.
Your gift is an investment in our students’ immediate needs so they can stay in school and continue working towards their educational and professional goals.
Our success on Giving Tuesday means that we can come to the aid of many additional students. On behalf of these students and our entire PCC community, I thank you.
We appreciate your ongoing support of PCC and our students!
With gratitude,
Christina Kline
