The ESOL Fund assists immigrants and refugees who cannot afford English classes or textbooks. Our students come from every continent and speak nearly a hundred different languages. They come from countries wracked by war, famine, and poverty. They have often spent years in refugee camps and suffered horrors we can barely imagine.
Our community is stronger when all of its members are equipped to be self-sufficient. This starts with education and education starts with English. Our students need to improve their language skills in order to more easily support their families, help their children in school, protect themselves from exploitation, participate fully in society, or work towards becoming citizens.
Your contribution will help our ESOL students take English classes and achieve their goals. Help us raise $5,000 this Big Give Day. Thanks to the generosity of David Stout and the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund, the first $1,000 in gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Be sure to encourage your friends to do the same by sharing Big Give Day on social media using the hashtag #PCCBigGiveDay.
