From Todd Angilly, PSC '99:
To my fellow Plymouth State alumni and friends,
I arrived at Plymouth State in the fall of 1995, the first in my family to attend college. I studied music and criminal justice and nearly three decades later, I’ve spent my career in the justice system helping people reintegrate into society.
I’ve also pursued my love of music and in 2019, I started performing the national anthem for the Boston Bruins! Last spring, I spoke at PSU’s 152nd Commencement ceremony and encouraged the Class of 2023 to take chances, follow their hearts, and stay in touch with those who help them along the way.
Like so many students today, I almost didn’t make it back one semester because I didn’t know how I was going to pay my bill. That’s why I’ve established the Angilly Opportunity Scholarship for students who might otherwise not be able to finish their education.
This Giving Week, I hope you will consider giving back to support Plymouth State students. The Angilly Opportunity Scholarship provides just-in-time financial awards to PSU students who need it most.
"Thank you again for believing in me and allowing me to be able to afford another year of college because otherwise, I don’t know if I would be able to continue to attend another year." PSU Student, Class of 2025
Sincerely,
Todd
