Not celebrating a reunion this year, but still want to give back to Pitzer? Go to www.pitzer.edu/give to make your gift. Thank you!
Happy reunion year!
This is a special time in your life as a member of the Pitzer community. As you reflect on the ways you’ve grown and the people, places, and moments that have been a part of your journey since Pitzer, we hope you feel inspired. You dared to take the next step in your life at Pitzer, and now you dare to empower others with your careers and lives.
The generous spirit of alumni plays an important role in impacting the student experience, and this is especially true for those celebrating reunions. In appreciation of your Pitzer memories and what you believe is important to the community, we encourage you to make a special gift this year! Gifts of all sizes make a difference for our students—so give anything, but give today!
We think friendly competitions are fun, so classes ending in “4” and “9” will compete with each other through giving this year. The class with the largest number of dollars raised, the class with the highest percentage of donors, and the class with the most Provida Futuri Society members (planned giving donors) will be recognized during Alumni Weekend, May 3–5.
There are many places you may direct a gift:
- The Pitzer Fund supports the greatest need of the College. It provides resources for academic initiatives, student services and programs, and scholarships and financial aid. In short, gifts made to the Pitzer Fund help keep Pitzer operating.
- The Pitzer Immigration Civil Rights Fund assists potentially vulnerable students with continuing access to a Pitzer College education with confidence and without impediment. Learn more about this fund.
- Meaningful professional experiences that pay well can be tough for students to come by. The Pitzer Internship Fund provides funding for unpaid or very low-paid summer internships that help students gain important career experience.
- You can also give to the Pitzer Annual Scholarship Fund, the Student Emergency Fund, the Diversity Program Fund, Sagehen Athletics, and more! If you have questions about where you can direct a gift, contact the Office of Annual Giving at giving@pitzer.edu or call 909.621.8432.
As you have moved on from Pitzer, new generations continue to sun on the mounds, chill at the Grove House, and take classes that expand their worldviews. They are also experiencing things that may sound new to you, like studying at the Robert Redford Conservancy, practicing Yoga and Pilates at the Gold Student Center, or learning side-by-side with incarcerated individuals through Pitzer’s Prison Education Program. For these students, as well as future students, your generosity makes an important difference.
