This campaign ended on February 15, 2019, but you can still make a gift to Pitzer College by clicking here!

Not a current parent but still want to give to Pitzer? Go to www.pitzer.edu/give to make your gift. Thank you!

CALLING ALL PITZER PARENTS!

It’s amazing when you stop and think about all of the new and unique things your student is experiencing at Pitzer. Right now, they might be eating in the dining hall, putting the final touch on that “A” paper, helping shape college policy, or even doing their own laundry (impossible for some of you to imagine!). While all Pitzer students’ experiences are unique, their journeys have one thing in common: you. Your student may dare to push their limits and transform their lives in college, but you as parents dare to sacrifice, guide, and love—all for them—making this important stepping stone in their lives possible.

In honor of your student’s college experience, we are excited to introduce this year’s Parent Challenge—a friendly giving competition between classes of Pitzer parents. Pitzer parents have a long history of generosity, and we encourage you to participate by giving in a way that supports what is meaningful to you and your student, knowing that anything you give will benefit them, their classmates, and the children of many future Pitzer parents. The class with the highest giving participation will be recognized at Family Weekend in February 2019.

Caroline and David, Parent Leadership Council leaders and parents of Pitzer juniors, are confident that Class of 2020 parents will win (see the video!). Junior parents—are they right? First-year, sophomore, and senior parents—can you show them otherwise?

Make a gift of any size today to participate. Good luck and thank you for believing in your student and in Pitzer!

Here are some ways that you can give to help Pitzer students:

  • The Pitzer Fund supports the greatest needs of the College. It provides resources for academic initiatives, student services and programs, and scholarships and financial aid. In short, gifts made to the Pitzer Fund help keep Pitzer operating.
  • Meaningful professional experiences that pay well can be tough for students to come by. The Pitzer Internship Fund provides funding for unpaid or very low-paid summer internships that help students gain important career experience.
  • You can also give to the Pitzer Annual Scholarship Fund, the Diversity Program Fund, Sagehen Athletics, and more! If you have questions about where you can direct a gift, contact the Office of Annual Giving at pitzerfund@pitzer.edu or 909.621.8432.
