FW 2022 Family Giving Challenge

Family giving is a strong tradition at Pitzer and plays an essential role in providing a quality, equitable, and inclusive college experience to all Pitzer students.

This Family Weekend, we invite you to perpetuate this tradition and provide students with vital resources not covered by tuition alone. From now until 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, February 20, we’re challenging 100 Pitzer family donors to give at any amount to support the continued growth of all Pitzer students.

Here are a few important causes amongst our Pitzer family community:

• The Pitzer Fund – Provides unrestricted essential support for the College's highest priority areas. 
• Strive2Thrive Program Fund – Provides funding that will build upon and expand integral mental health and wellness resources for Pitzer students including a new wellness space, increased staffing to support students, and increased budget allocation for additional programs that ensure equitable access for Pitzer’s diverse student population.
• Pitzer Annual Scholarship Fund – Provides financial assistance to students who do not have the means to attend Pitzer.
• Pitzer Internship Fund – Reduces the expense of unpaid or very low-paid internships by providing an average financial assistance award of $1,360 per student recipient.
• The Pitzer Student Garden Fund – Provides resources for projects within the Pitzer Student Garden Revitalization Campaign including a revamped hen house with an enhanced feeding system, an updated irrigation system, necessary supplies and garden tools, seeds and chicken feed, and wages for student garden managers who oversee the garden year-round.
• The First-Generation Program Fund – Helps to support first-generation college students at Pitzer. This fund has played a role in establishing a physical space for First-Gen students and maintaining the First-Gen Student Mentoring Program.
• Pomona-Pitzer Athletics – Provides unrestricted support for the greatest needs in Pomona-Pitzer Athletics.
