The first few years of life after college are a transition, especially after leaving the “Claremont bubble” and Pitzer in particular. Long nights at the Marquis Library, wishing even the finest Italian restaurants could live up to pasta bar, and pop-up Grove House shows are just a few of the many things students miss after graduation. Each Pitzer experience is undoubtedly unique, but there’s something about this place that will forever connect alumni. One of the best ways alumni can show their Pitzer pride is by investing in the continued success of Pitzer, its students, and the people this community serves. For this reason, an alumna from the Class of 1983 has generously decided to issue a giving challenge to Pitzer young alumni: if just 150 young alumni give $5 or more, she will donate $5,000!
Between Monday, June 7, and Wednesday, June 9, if you can, please make a gift of just $5 or more to any fund of your choice. With this alumna’s challenge and the end of the fiscal year quickly approaching, it is the perfect time to help support current Pitzer students as they pursue the quality, socially conscious education you know and love. And, you can give back to your favorite programs (think the Green Bike Program, FirstGen Program, Pomona-Pitzer Athletics, and the list goes on…)
Remember, you are of this place, and it is changing you. The 2021 Young Alumni Challenge is upon us! Are you up for the challenge? Make your gift of just $5 or more and help Pitzer foster the next generation of global changemakers!
