Sometimes, unlocking a student's full potential comes down to the simplest of resources. At Penn State School of Music, we've seen how access to an opportunity—a master class, a competition, a festival—can transform a promising learner into an extraordinary musician.
The Student Success Program Fund is a lifeline for students, especially in those pivotal moments when an unexpected expense could mean the difference between performing or not, competing or sitting out. With your gift, we can support students facing financial challenges such as accompanist fees, recital clothing, instrument repairs, or travel costs for performances and festivals. Every contribution—no matter the size—can make a profound difference, empowering our students to step confidently into opportunities that shape their futures.
By giving to the Student Success Program Fund, you are ensuring that students can focus on their music without financial worry. Together, #WeAre making a tangible difference, amplifying their hard work, talent, and dedication. Join us in this important mission to support the next generation of musicians at Penn State.
About the Student Success Program Fund:
The Student Success Program Fund at the Penn State School of Music was created to provide this critical support, thanks to the generosity of Deborah Sullivan, a 1978 music graduate. By committing a portion of her estate, Sullivan established the fund to honor her father's memory and pay forward the invaluable support she received in her own musical journey.
