It’s no secret that Cardinals Care in a BIG Way! We are thankful for those who have selflessly supported this effort. We know the need will only continue to grow as students and families process the impact of the pandemic. Our goal is to make the path to Otterbein for new and returning students as accessible as possible given the challenging circumstances. Otterbein is known for its BIG, caring community and we want nothing more than to help our students during this time of need.

Here's how you can help in a BIG way:

Support: Show your support and help take care of Otterbein students during these uncertain and challenging times. These targeted areas will have the most immediate and direct impact in the lives of our students.

  • Student Emergency Fund: Provide funding to Otterbein students who are challenged to afford housing, transportation, basic needs, and required resources for learning as a result of protective measures resulting from COVID-19.
  • Promise House: Keep food on the table. This student-led community resource center includes a food pantry, school supplies and provides a sense of comfort for Otterbein students.
  • Textbook Affordability: Provide copies of textbooks to the library that can be reserved by Otterbein students who are challenged to afford textbooks.
  • Counseling Center: Help ensure that any student who needs extra guidance from Otterbein counselors during this time has easy access to it.
  • Area of Greatest Need: Otterbein is adapting operations dramatically to best serve students. Your support will give leadership additional resources to meet our most pressing needs.
