About

Now more than ever, we're so grateful for the community that has made a difference for Otterbein since 1847.

We’re asking alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends of Otterbein to make your gift to the Otterbein Fund during 1847 Minutes for Otterbein: The Relaunch. Your gift, no matter its size, makes it possible for students to continue to experience the opportunities and academic excellence unique to Otterbein, despite new challenges faced amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Plus, thanks to a generous gift from David W. ’75 and Beth J. P’11 Fisher, we will unlock $10,000 when we reach 100 donors toward our 250-donor goal! You’ve got 1,847 minutes to make your impact and help us unlock additional funds for Otterbein students – can you spare 1 minute?

Want to give your social media profile an 1847 Minutes for Otterbein makeover? Head over to our challenge toolkit at otterbein.edu/1847toolkit to download images and view sample text for sharing the challenge.

Please note: The safety and wellness of our Otterbein community is our number one priority. As we re-launch this important 1847 Minutes effort together, please know that some videos and images were filmed before COVID-19. I study nursing and my favorite spot on campus is the Courtwright Memorial Library. Keeping the library well-lit, temperature-controlled, and beautiful might not be glamorous, but to students like me, it’s so important. Thank you!
