Hi! I'm Victoria Schenck, a freshman at Olivet Nazarene University! I'm currently studying elementary education with an endorsement in early childhood education and am involved in Christian Education Association and the Imago Dei club. I have loved being at Olivet this year and have loved all the support and friendships that I have had since I’ve been here. This coming spring, Shalom Project is organizing various ministry trips both in the country and internationally. I have the AMAZING opportunity to travel to Tanzania to support and learn from the individuals there! Tanzania is located in East Africa bordering the Indian Ocean and about 13 million Tanzanians live in extreme poverty. While the team is on this trip we will be focusing on pastoral, youth and children’s ministry training and will build GREAT relationships with the individuals there! Our team will be traveling to Dar es Salaam, which is a city with 98% Muslim, Arusha, and Mwanza. Even though this is a very exciting trip, I will need help with raising the funds to go on it!
