Hi! I'm Beth Litwiller, a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University! I'm studying Nursing and am involved in orchestra and cheerleading. Olivet has allowed me to grow so much over the last two years and I am so blessed by my experiences at ONU. This coming spring, Shalom Project is organizing spring break ministry trips both in the US and internationally. I have the AMAZING opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to support and learn from the One Collective, a ministry that impacts its community by working to create change based on the ways of Jesus. Nicaragua, located in the heart of Central America, is known as the land of fire and water because of it's thousands of lakes and volcanoes.
More than 50% of Nicaragua's rural population live below the poverty line. I am very excited to again visit the wonderful people of Nicaragua. My team will work on various service projects, build relationships with the Nicaraguans, and witness creative ministries targeting nutrition education and drug rehab I'll also get to experience Nicaraguan culture and explore Nicaragua further on our extra day.
While this is a huge and exciting adventure, I hope to raise the funds I will need for travel expenses! Thank you for your support and prayers as I commit to raising these funds. If you're willing, please donate here! And thank you, thank you for all your support!! I can't wait to see how God works through this experience:)
