Hi, my name is Parker Scottberg and I am a senior at Olivet Nazarene University. I'm currently studying Accounting and Business Administration. I am a member of Accounting Club and a major advocate for Olivet Intramural's. Whether in my faith, academics, social life, or professional development, I believe that I was constantly growing with my time at Olivet. With it being my last year, I felt that it was the right time to explore the opportunity to volunteer with a Shalom Project ministry trip. During this spring break I will be traveling to Honduras with a team consisting of Olivet leaders and fellow students. This trip is an opportunity for me to grow in my faith, serve others, and be a part of something bigger than myself. We will be partnering with the organization Footsteps Missions to work with the children of the Garden of Love and Hope. The Garden is an orphanage that provides education, bible classes, meals, and mentoring. During our time there we will be spending time with the children, encouraging and supporting the staff, and implementing business skills in the new community being created there.
