Hello! I am Anna Donnelli, and I am a junior at Olivet Nazarene University! I am majoring in psychology and minoring in business. I love going to the events on campus and spending time with my roommates whenever I can. I have faced many challenges since being at Olivet and have grown a lot through the past few years. I have been encouraged in my faith, and my relationship with the Lord has grown since being here. I am grateful for the experience I had through Olivet to participate in a mission trip over spring break. The Shalom Project is organizing various ministry trips in the country and internationally. I could travel to Honduras, and I am overjoyed! The dates for the trip are March 1-8, 2025.
This is a great opportunity to be immersed in a culture different from America. We will be in the beautiful mountain-filled town of Santa Barbara. My team will partner with Footsteps Missions to work with the children of the Garden of Love and Hope, an economic orphanage that supports and cares for children. We may also organize a VBS-style camp, including music and art. We will get to spend time with the kids through playing sports including basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. My team and I will interact with the children and encourage the staff throughout the trip!
While this is such a wonderful and exciting opportunity, I will need help raising funds to serve the people of Honduras! If you can, please donate here!
