Hi!
I am Maori, an MBA student in her first year. I am currently a GA with media services on campus. Olivet has given me the opportunity to go on a media mission trip for the last two years. God opened the door for me to stay on campus after completing my bachelor's and has given me another opportunity to travel abroad for a mission trip.
This summer the media camp will take place in Guatemala. Located in the heart of Central America, is home to ancient Mayan ruins, beautiful scenery, and more than 50% of its nation living below the poverty line. This is a great opportunity to be immersed in a culture very different from America. My team will help run a soccer program for kids, tutor classes in English, and support local ministries and orphanages. I'll also experience and explore Guatemala further on our extra day.
