To the beautiful person reading this: My name is Isabella Ford, and I am a senior (woohoo!) at Olivet Nazarene University! I have spent the last 3.5 years here studying to be a nurse and in under 6 months I will graduate with my BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)! ONU has truly become my favorite place to be, and God has opened so many doors for me here. Over the last 4 years, I have spent my time actively being involved on campus and in the community. I am a local youth leader at Gathering Point Church, a teacher's assistant for the biology department, the only student worker in the office of the registrar, and female chaplain of the ONU Marching Band. I truly owe my growth over the past 4 years at ONU to the Lord and his wonderful community of people. He is so faithful!
Another incredible experience I have had at ONU is being able to serve on two Shalom Project Ministry trips. Spring break of sophomore year I served in Honduras and spring break of junior year I served in the Dominican Republic. This year I have another INCREDIBLE opportunity to RETURN to the Dominican Republic on my senior year spring break. From March 1st to March 8th of 2025, I will be a part of a team of many other Olivet students and two amazing staff leaders.
Together we will serve alongside of GO Ministries to provide support to the communities within Santiago, DR. GO Ministries is a global missions organization with a mission to empower local leaders to make disciples as God redeems people, renews communities and restores creation through church planting, community development, medical, and sports initiatives. During the trip, we will be participating in construction efforts, working with local children and teachers in the community, hosting TWO pop up medical clinics, and more! I am beyond excited to return and to serve in the medical mission field.
With all of this being said, my service IS NOT possible without YOU! I need YOUR help financially with being able to go serve the Kingdom in such a special place:) I am asking 52 people to partner with me in GOING and serving by donating $50! Will you be ONE of 52?
