Hi! My name is Brooklyn, and I am a junior nursing student at Olivet Nazarene University. Over the past three years, I have grown significantly as a Christ follower. Through prayer, reflection, and studying God's word, I've been learning to embrace God's calling in my life with an open heart. This coming spring, I have an incredible opportunity through the Shalom Project to serve on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is a vibrant Caribbean nation known for its warm hospitality, rich cultural heritage, and beautiful beaches. However, many communities, especially in rural areas, face significant healthcare challenges including limited access to medical care and resources. During this trip, I'll have the privilege of working alongside local healthcare providers and communities, where I can apply my nursing education in meaningful ways. This hands-on experience will not only allow me to serve others but also enhance my nursing skills in a cross-cultural healthcare setting. This opportunity aligns perfectly with my calling to serve others through healthcare ministry.
While I'm deeply excited about this chance to expand God's kingdom, I need your support to make this mission possible. I am asking for your partnership in this journey, whether through prayer or financial contribution. Your support, in any form, will help make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve in the Dominican Republic. If you feel led
to contribute financially to this mission, you can donate here. Thank you for considering being part of this ministry. I look forward to sharing how God works through this experience and uses me as the hands and feet of Christ in the Dominican Republic.
With gratitude, Brooklyn
