Hello! My name is Camen Englund and I am a freshman at Olivet Nazarene University and am called to serve in Nicaragua! I am so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to be able to travel out and make the glory of God known! This 2025 spring break the ONU Shalom Project is organizing a ministry trip in Masatepe, Nicaragua, a beautiful country known as "The Land of Lakes and Volcanoes," and I get to go learn about their culture and serve in their community! The primary focus of our team is to fuel the long-term work of meeting physical and spiritual needs in Nicaragua while simultaneously building relationships with the community and be an encouragement to them in their fight with poverty.
As exciting as this experience is going to be, the trip is also a huge commitment, requiring a lot of time and money and help is needed! If willing, please donate, I would be so grateful. Your prayers and encouragement also mean the world to me as I prepare for this journey. Thank you for your generosity and support! We will be going March 1 - March 7 and will partner with the mission organization One Collective, working on projects that move our own ministries toward their goals and partnering with other local organizations and churches making an impact in Masatepe.
