Hi! My name is Ethan Mathews, and I am currently a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University. For the past year and a half, I have been studying for a business degree. In the fall semester of my sophomore year, I have been experiencing God's presence and faithful love in my life like I never have before. I have really been feeling called to serve other people through God and have decided to pursue a double major with both business and Christian studies. I have witnessed how God can work in miraculous ways, one way being through other people. There have been so many people in my life that have shown me God's love and reminded me that He has a plan for my life. I want to be someone that makes a difference in other peoples' lives as well.
I felt called to go on a ministry trip to Cactus, Texas because I know there are people out there that are searching and unfulfilled by what this world has to offer and need the love and renewal of Christ. This is my first ever ministry trip and I'm very excited as I get to look forward to it! My team is going to be serving at health clinics, after school programs, sports ministries, community gardens, and citizenship classes.
I am hoping to raise some money in order to help me make this trip possible. I appreciate any and all support no matter how much! Thank you for your consideration and the opportunity to be a part of something so special!
