Hello! I'm Brooklyn Hulliberger and I am heading into my final semester of college at Olivet Nazarene University. For the past four years, I have been majoring in marketing and playing soccer at the collegiate level. Olivet has allowed me to grow so much in my faith and I am so blessed by my experiences at ONU.
A unique opportunity has opened up for me through Olivet Nazarene University to travel to Cactus, Texas, to support and learn from the community there. This spring, I will travel to Cactus, Texas, located an hour north of Amarillo, to serve at the Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center (CNMC). CNMC supports a diverse community of over 20 nationalities and ethnicities, primarily immigrants and refugees from around the world. Their programs include ESL classes, legal assistance, health clinics, after-school programs, sports ministries, community gardens, citizenship classes, and more. Our team will partner with CNMC, assisting with their various ministries. Cactus is a unique community, and this experience will provide valuable insights into refugee communities and the immigration process in the U.S.
