Hello, thanks for stopping by! I'm Avery, a Junior at Olivet Nazarene University, studying English Education. Olivet has allowed me to grow so much over the last year and I have been so blessed by my experiences at ONU from professors taking me to coffee, meeting friends to play games and do homework, and feeling the presence of God in everyday life. This coming spring, Shalom Project is organizing various ministry trips both in the country and internationally. I have the AMAZING opportunity to travel to Quito, Ecuador to support and learn from the community there! This is a great opportunity to be immersed in a culture very different from America, as well as serve alongside those already on the ground ministering to this group of people. My team will help run a soccer school for kids, serve the community through physical labor projects, and support local ministries. I'll also get to experience and explore Ecuador further on our extra day. While this is a huge and exciting adventure, I will need help raising the funds to embark on it!
