Olin PInT is a community of students learning how to serve the public interest by creating an engineering practice that centers care, equity, and a critical understanding of the systemic injustices that our work seeks to address.
We are fundraising for a Public Interest Technology weekend in the spring, which will bring together Olin and surrounding student communities to learn about public interest technology and its related fields through workshops, panels, PIT career networking, and more.
Our goal is to raise $3,000 to fund a Public Interest Technology weekend in the spring, which will bring together Olin and surrounding student communities to learn about public interest technology and its related fields through workshops, panels, PIT career networking, and more. We also hope to continue to support Hydroponics and Out Maine subteams for the next two semesters. This allows each subteam a budget of $500 per semester, which they will use to purchase building materials, compensate mentors, and build cohesive teams through bonding events and school-wide offerings.
Olin students are itching to work with stakeholders and partners to create change, leveraging their powerful technical and creative skills for justice, equity, and a better world. PInT is seeking funding in order to continue to provide opportunities for students to engage in and lead long-term projects rooted in stakeholder needs and complex systems.
