Join us for Pre-Law Day 2025, a dynamic two-day event hosted by the Ohio University Center for Law, Justice & Culture, in partnership with Ohio University Alumni Association. Designed to inspire and connect students with legal professionals, this event provides unparalleled opportunities for networking, learning, and celebrating achievements in the legal field.

Thursday, February 27

• Keynote Address (6:00–7:00 PM) | The Athena Uptown Theater Featuring Ohio University alumna Laura Weidner, Esq. (BA '02), Chief Advocacy & Government Relations Officer at the Epilepsy Foundation in Washington, D.C. Laura brings a wealth of experience in public policy, government relations, and advocacy to inspire the next generation of legal professionals.
• Welcome Reception (7:30–9:30 PM) | Jackie O's Brewpub Unwind, connect, and network with alumni, students, and faculty over great food and drinks.

Friday, February 28

• Registration and Breakfast | Baker University Center, 2nd Floor
• Panel Discussions & Roundtables (All Day) | Baker University Center, 2nd Floor  Gain insights into law school preparation, careers in law, and diverse pathways from distinguished alumni and professionals.
• Student Organization & Experiential Learning Presentations | (Afternoon) Baker University Center, 2nd Floor
• Student Awards Ceremony (Afternoon) Location TBD Celebrate excellence and achievements among the Ohio University legal community.
• Closing Reception (5:00–7:00 PM) | Side Bar End the event on a high note by building relationships with fellow Bobcats and legal experts.
