Support the Arts with Museum on the Move

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to support NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale's art education program Museum on the Move. 

Museum on the Move is an innovative education program that invites Broward County students grades 1-12 to experience NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. The program enhances learning and increases engagement with the arts by involving students in stimulating tours of the Museum’s exhibitions and collections, and hands-on art activities based on principles of STEAM (science, technology, art, engineering, math) and 21st Century learning skills. In the past year during the pandemic the program was delivered virtually to more than 3,000 students in Broward County. 

Arts education is an investment in the future of our communities. Americans for the Arts reports that exposure to the arts has been statistically proven to improve students overall academic performance, increase test scores, teach tolerance, build self-confidence, reduce dropout rates and develop skills needed by 21st century workforce including critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication and teamwork.
