As parents of a student in the class of 2025, we write to you today with congratulations, we have made it to senior year! Lately, we have been a bit nostalgic thinking about the great memories our daughter, Ellie, has made at ND. She had the support of wonderful teachers, motivation from dedicated coaches, and has made lasting friendships in the place she considers home. We reflect on our time as ND parents and alumni with much gratitude, pride, and happiness. We hope you share those same feelings as you experience the last few traditions for your senior.
One special tradition at Notre Dame has been the Leave Your Legacy - Senior Class Gift Campaign. Our students have been asked to participate themselves in this effort to raise funds toward a picnic area near Perone Field. The picnic area will have tables, a commemorative bench engraved with the Class of 2025 and some landscaping. The students voted on this project and thought it was a much-needed space to gather during activity period and after school. The campaign has already begun and our students have started out strong raising $4,100 with 87% of the class participating.
This is also an opportunity to recognize a valued teacher, coach, or staff member who had an impact on your student’s ND experience. What a wonderful way to show your appreciation for what they have done by making a gift in their honor.
