1968 Fund Scholarships
WHAT IS THE 1968 FUND?
The 1968 Fund provides scholarship funding for students whose families are encountering financial difficulties.
Family emergencies, health issues, financial hardships, accidents, and the passing of a loved one are just a few reasons 1968 Fund scholarships are awarded.
YOUR IMPACT!
During Rachel Dick's senior year, her family went through a crisis. Both her mom and brother were battling cancer at the same time. With everything going on at home, Rachel was in need of extra funds to finish her senior year. In 2016, with the assistance from the 1968 Fund, Rachel was able to walk across the stage and become a proud MVNU Alumna.
RACHEL SAYS:
“After the loss of my 18-year-old brother I didn’t want tuition to be my top concern. Scholarships allowed me to grieve and give my full attention to my family’s needs without worrying to meet my financial needs to finish school.” -Rachel Dick, '16
