Founder's Day Challenge 2019
Put your best foot forward for Founder’s Day!
On November 8, 1837, Mount Holyoke opened its doors to 80 students ready to redefine the expectations for women in the world. Having come from modest means herself, Mary Lyon was committed to making a Mount Holyoke education affordable for students of all economic backgrounds. 182 years later, our students are still pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.
Your gifts — of any size — continue this important tradition of supporting access and empowerment. On November 8, a group of anonymous alumnae will give $100 to your Mount Holyoke Fund class gift for every 8 donors in your class* who make a gift on November 8. Any class that reaches 80 donors by the end of Founder’s Day will receive an additional $1,837!
*These additional funds will be added to your class gift for The Mount Holyoke Fund at the end of the year.
