For over 20 years, the Miner Aviation Student Design Team has been designing, building, and flying large-scale RC aircraft and competing against teams from all over the world. Our competition this year is April 18th-21st in Wichita, Kansas, and the team is looking forward to excelling at this year’s mission objectives: successfully completing 3 laps in five minutes with a mock crew inside the aircraft, achieving a medical transport flight - also with a mock crew and supplies - and loading as many passengers as possible into the aircraft and attempting as many laps as possible.
Our team will need to transport the aircraft and members to Wichita, and the costs for transportation and lodging are significant. Your contribution helps the team to ensure as many students as possible have the opportunity to attend competition and see all their hard work pay off. For many, going to competition is what solidifies their passion for Miner Aviation, and even a small donation can be the difference for a student.
