MSU Formula SAE
We are a team of engineering students ranging from freshman to senior academic levels. Our team is comprised mostly of mechanical engineering majors, but we also incorporate electrical and civil engineering majors.
Formula SAE is a Society of Automotive Engineers sponsored collegiate racing series. The cars are formula-style, open wheel and open cockpit, that must be designed, built, and driven by students.
Missouri State University Formula SAE was founded to provide students with hands-on experience to supplement their engineering education. Students will learn practical skills to help them achieve their career goals through building, testing, and driving the racecar. Additionally, the community will benefit from having well rounded engineers enter the workforce post-graduation.
The MSU FSAE organization will be the first formula style racing team MSU has ever had. We hope that we are successful so that students coming into the engineering program can have an opportunity to continually design, build, test, and compete racecars.
The team goal is not just to compete in FSAE events but to win them and gain worldwide notoriety for our students, our engineering program, our universities and our community. We need your help to accomplish this.
