Help Future Science Teachers Get to NSTA Conference in Boston!

This campaign ended on January 18, 2020, but you can still make a gift to Missouri State University by clicking here!

Help us to brighten the future of our schools and communities!

We are future middle and high school science teachers who want to attend the National Science Teaching Association's national conference in Boston, MA. We are a part of a student organization called the Society of Science Educators that is dedicated to helping future science teachers to become the best possible educators and professionals they can be.

The funds from this Campaign will send 4 future science teachers to the conference in Boston. We attended the NSTA conference in St. Louis last school year and benefited greatly from the experiences, opportunities, resources, and information that was given to us while we were there.

This conference will allow us to develop, learn, and grow as educators, professionals, and as people. Better teachers = better students = a better society! What we learn at this conference will benefit students, and thus, society for decades to come!

As everyone knows, college is expensive. Likewise, this conference is expensive, especially for college students that are soon to be teachers. Any donations to this Campaign will be used to offset costs that would otherwise have to be covered by those of us attending the conference. These costs include conference registration fees, hotels, plane tickets, Uber rides to the conference, and food while we are there. (see our expense breakdown here: Cost Breakdown)

Donations will not only benefit us, but will ultimately go towards the students that we all care for and love. We promise that these funds will be put to great use. Help us get to the NSTA Conference in Boston!

Not only will donations make a huge difference, but so will sharing our campaign with friends, coworkers, and family. All support is helpful and greatly appreciated!
