Bear Breaks Immersion Trips

This campaign ended on March 20, 2019, but you can still make a gift to Missouri State University by clicking here!

With your help, Missouri State Bear Breaks will have the necessary funding for important opportunities both this year and for years to come!

During 2018-2019, Bear Breaks is heading to 7 cities across the United States and Costa Rica, while also planning 2 Fall Break trips for next year. We design our trips as an immersive experience; we spend the week serving the community and exploring the city. With your help, this campaign will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students. We have made a lot of changes in the past two years and we would like to continue this trend. Your donation can help us accomplish our goals.

The Bear Breaks Endowment is in its first year. This year we are hoping to raise $1,000 for our program. Your donations will allow Bear Breaks to provide an affordable and enriching experience for students participating in the trips. Funds collected will pay for essential trip needs such as vehicle rental, gas, food, and lodging. It will also allow us to participate in more educational and cultural activities in each city.

Your gift and support allows MSU to have a stronger presence in the world, funding opportunities for students to experience other cultures, making us more empathetic to others across the world - and to truly become active citizens.

Support our #citizenbears as they travel across the country to immerse themselves in different communities and bring their new perspectives back to Springfield, MO. Thank you for your support of MSU Bear Breaks.
